  Tempered glass : Soliver® |
Glass can be tempered using the same process as for steel: it is heated until its fusion point is reached and then it is cooled very quickly and uniformly. Soliver® tempered glass, will resist extremely violent impacts from blunt objects. Glass doors are commonly made with this material, which is also widely used in sports centres, psychiatric hospitals and many other types of buildings.

Colours and thicknesses:
Soliver® is available in several types of decorative glazing 8 or 10 mm thick, clear as well as coloured. In addition, it can easily be used in Solitherm® insulating glazing. You can even choose to have one or both panes tempered. |
In some cases, it is advisable to use Soliver® in sunproof glazing, especially when the use of non-tempered glass would involve a high risk of thermal breaking.
The Soliver Group has a horizontal furnace for tempering glass. It enables us to process every order, large or small, in the most rational way. |
